Many holiday treats are dangerous for pets, including:

• Xylitol (a sugar substitute found in gum and baked goods)

Stick to pet-safe treats and keep human food out of reach—especially during parties or family meals.

4. Provide a Safe Space

5. Secure Cords and Candles

Keep electrical cords, batteries, and candles well out of reach. Pets may chew on cords or knock over candles, which can cause burns or fires.
